I thought I remembered nH rolling dP in around 5 mins on frozen in one AT. Although as always cross-continental servers could always be a factor.

That was StP running a terrible build, though it was on observer so I'm sure Asp will say it's viable!

I think the only euro guild they have beaten is us, but that doesn't say much since we have 7 people and only 6 actually log on at any time other than the MAT :P
I don't think i was in either game but what Mitch said about builds is quite true, we must be the only people who use a dom mesmer and apply poison and theres a good reason for that.

I meant running mo/w with the only midline defense being a mindshock ele with bflash and playing 8v8.

The idea was to gun em down before they could blow us up. Which perhaps could have worked if we had prepared better (underestimated them) and if shaq was able to do more. Had 2 fps and high ping due to his pc making 10 backups of the C drive simultaneously, or something along those lines.
As for predictions, I can see rawr and BOSS getting to the final. With shat/dP/DirT/KMD/BadV/sO/StP/Wipe/vibe/nH/zero as contestants for the other six XTH key generator spots. Dunno what Holz is doing. Also, why was it not possible to make predictions during the registration time last month? Was possible before :[

Holz' ranger left last week, they recruited Adrian/Jenny as ranger and yesterday both of their monks left the guild as far as I know.
Serious Samy is serious.

How does one underestimate the power of warriors with smiting buffs? Isn't that how you pushed rawr's shit in just before smiting ended up being everywhere?

More like Signet of Rage x3 + Bane Signet x3 and an Eviscerate on Polly in Frenzy.

I'd love for KMD to finally get gold, but how can you vote against Rawr when they keep doing it time after time.
Havent watched much this month due to anet killing the game enjoyment, so its:-
1)Rawr
2)KMD
3)BaDV
4)DirT (not seeing them mentioned - disbanded?)
5)dP
6)StP (which means someone will forget to press enter or err7 etc)
7)BOSS
8)Emo
meh... should have done this rather than my actual preds...got more top 8 in actual but all too far out to get points.../sigh @ bad matchups

The reason that no one mentions DirT is because over the last year, they've never made top 8 in a mAT. The closest they've gotten is 9th (05/08), 10th (10/08) and 13th (01/09).
I don't really know how I'll flesh out my top 8. I think the only obvious candidates are: rawr, BOSS, dP, KMD. If StP has their shit together, they're definitely a must-have for your top 8 also. I really have to see who else qualifies, but I think BadV is one of those remaining choices. Shat has also returned from hiatus, and I think they're a likely choice also. The eighth slot is up in the air for me. I really think it would be a mistake to put any of the other major American guilds (Vibe, Wipe, nH, zero) in my top 8, but I'd like to see another American guild besides rawr place there.
I think nH is the strongest of the guilds and the most likely to take silver by grace of people not realizing that:
1) they will probably lose if they run an 8v8 build that does not spike with at least rawr frequency and power
2) they will especially lose if that 8v8 build doesn't have rawr level healing
3) they will still lose if they run a ridiculous 8v8 build and suck at it
4) they should just split and collapse repeatedly because nH is terrible at following damage and getting stuff back to collapse and kill splits
People get Vibe, Wipe and zero (who have all struggled to make top 16). They don't seem to understand dishonorable Cirque with his army of TA followers.
